Hello everybody, last night the weather in Los Angeles was very warm and welcoming, in the afternoon i had a meeting with my friend Gilles Amsallem, founder of the French Tuesdays event group.
Gilles invited me to his New years event which is going to be in Beverly Hills at the Gonpachi restaurant.
Following the meeting we had a wonderful dinner at sunset plaza at Eveleigh restaurant on Sunset blvd. The entrance of the restaurant was a beautiful garden with a welcoming fountain. The interior of the restaurant had accents of wood with a fireplace and the ambience was very warm and cozy. What caught my attention on the menu was sauteed octopus with caviar sauce.
While i was seated down at the bar ordering appetizers the gentleman seated next to me started a conversation with me by smiling and introducing himself, as our conversation continued he told me that he was in Africa for volunteer work. I had a very pleasant conversation which made me very happy because it is difficult to find substance beyond superficiality in Los Angeles.
After the wonderful dinner we proceeded to the WRITERS MEMBERS CLUB which is the private area of the famous SUPPERCLUB in Hollywood. The music was loungy and provided a very relaxed atmosphere where i could enjoy my Martini and be able to have a conversation and jokes with my friends.
We concluded the night beautifully leaving the club at 1 am because i need to get home early for my beauty sleep.
The clothing attire i wore last night was rock and roll style with leather boots and leather jackets because it is comfortable, simple, chic and elegant at the same time where i can go into nice restaurants and also be fashionable in a club afterwards.
These are the last days of 2011, before going to sleep i think about all the friends ,all my travels and all the wonderful places i have been this year. I wish everybody a wonderful night and all the best to come in the year coming.
